As someone who considers themselves creative, I have always found it interesting how marketing can combine analytical and creative aspects to connect with people. This is what initially drew me to marketing. After a year of studying marketing and partaking in multiple marketing projects, I saw more possibilities within marketing, which further piqued my interest.

What excites me specifically is the use of data in the manly aspects of marketing. In my studies and through project application, I found that data played a significant role in informing marketing actions and understanding customer behaviour. I also found it interesting how it informs companies’ creative choices. As I continue to grow in this field, I’m excited to develop my data analytics and consumer behaviour skills.
Overall, I am excited about marketing because it combines many of my interests, such as creativity, strategy, and the opportunity to make an impact.
